Natural ecru colour linen thread by Somac, one of the top produces in the UK. Somac Linen Thread is brilliant for binding the front of an arrows fletching, the thread can be parted into its thinner strands if you do not want it to part the barbs when whipping. A good strong natural product, this linen thread has a host of craft uses it is trusted by leather workers and saddlers – one spool is 3/18, 50gm.

Linen textiles appear to be some of the oldest in the world, they have been found in amoungst other materials in a 8000 BC Swiss lake dwelling and yet more controversially in a cave in Georgia dated to 34,000 BC.
