X Bone – Camel Leg

Description

Bone from domesticated Camel that is thoroughly peroxide treated, seasoned, uniform in surface and colour, that will take an Ivory like “sheen” in finish and will colour down similarly.

These are large, carefully prepared sections, cut at one end and with the joint/knuckle intact at the other. They average 12 – 14″ in length and will cut down for a variety of uses, yielding widths of 1.5″ ( 37 mm ). A typical section will yield turnable knuckle section, 4 large scales (6″+ at full width) and leftover pieces.
