Peasant Archer pewter badge of an soldier moving forwards with his bow drawn, dressed in commoners garb of the middle ages, a sleeveless coat and hood, known as a liripipe. The original badge is Dutch circs 1530’s, secular badges had became very popular during the 14th & 15th centuries, perhaps this one declares the wearer’s proficiency or interest in archery.
